The Municipality of Södertälje has decided to purchase the Digpro DP/Cadaster as its new mapping system and GIS for storage as well as for the updating and processing of geographic data in its municipality.
The main reason for the change of system is to replace the current solution in the AutoKa PC with a modern GIS, adapted to today’s demands for simple operation, rapid and safe data transferring, easy user access, together with support for quality guarantee and quality control. Moreover, it will make it possible to integrate information from other sources and systems that have geographically related information, the possibility of publishing information as well as providing support for efficient field work.
In DP/Cadaster, the Municipality has a completely web-based system that handles the production and presentation of geographic information in an integrated environment. DP/Cadaster has the same basic platform that the other DP/Spatial family has; a wholly web-based environment with Oracle Spatial for storing geographical data, which makes it possible to disseminate and integrate data and applications in a new way.
