Borås Elnät AB and Digpro AB sign a contract for a network information system for electricity and communication

Borås Elnät AB has signed a contract with Digpro for its Facilplus Spatial, a network information system for electricity and communication.

Facilplus Spatial will constitute the main IT tool at Borås Elnät for project work, preparation work, documentation and maintenance, as well as managing faults and stoppages when they occur.

Facilplus Spatial is a completely web-based solution, built on Oracle Spatial for the storing of all network related information. A great deal of emphasis has been placed on user friendliness. The system is wholly roll-based and can therefore be easily adapted to suit the various processes that the organization works with.

Delivery and start up of operations are taking place during 2009.
