Karlstads Elnät AB sign a contract for the delivery of network information systems for electricity and opto/signal

Karlstads Elnät AB has signed a contract with Digpro and ABB for the delivery of network information systems for electricity and opto/signal. The systems are based on the same basic platform, viz. DP/Spatial. They are totally web-based, using Oracle Spatial for storing geographic data.

In addition to Facilplus Spatial/E and DP/Com, the contract also includes solutions for project management, inspection and the management of power outages. Exchange of production information regarding connection status and measurement values will take place with the MICROSCADA System.

Delivery and commissioning of the system will be carried out during the second half of 2007.
