The municipality of Halmstad and the Halmstad Utility Company known as Elnät AB have both independently signed on with Digpro and ABB. The engagement includes extensive deliverables with regards to map production systems for the municipality as well as network information systems for the electricity and fiber optics networks. The entire system will have additional advantages since it will share a common Oracle Spatial platform. This will allow municipal data to be used and distributed with the most efficient and effective means possible.
Only the most informed decisions can be made with the most accurate information, which is undoubtedly why DP/Cadaster is the best solution for the Municipal of Halmstad. DP/Cadaster is a complete production system designed specifically to meet the kinds of rigorous demands Municipalities face on a daily basis. For Halmstad, the management of geographic and municipal data will be faster and simpler to produce, present and maintain.
The Elnät AB energy company will receive a fully integrated solution with the combined power of both DP/Com and Facilplus Spatial/E. For optimum use of data, both applications will run off of the same Oracle Spatial platform as the local municipality. Elnät will also be provided with an integrate suite of NIS applications, SCADA system, Network Manager as well as the appropriate modules for SCADA and the NIS applications to interface. Furthermore, even though Facilplus Spatial/E is already an outstanding tool for documenting electric utility data, ABB will provide additional solutions for project management, inspection, and interruption notification management.
